Description	:	Family oral tradition was that Sarah was related to the McCoys of the Hatfield-McCoy feud; but, her immediate family do not appear to have ever been in the same territory as the feuding families. Jackson) The Howard Courant Howard, Kansas Friday, June 15, 1900 page 3 Died. At her home near Chaplin, Wednesday night, June 6, Mrs. S.J. Hutchinson. She was born in Ohio, Dec. 15, 1833; was married Sept. 15, 1853, and was 66 years old. Mr. and Mrs. Hutchinson settled on their present farm seventeen years ago and have won the esteem of all in their community. Sister Hutchinson suffered with heart disease for some time, but for a few days seemed better, until the night of June 6th she grew worse and died about 12 o'clock. Sister Hutchinson was converted to faith in Christ a few years ago and lived a consistent and exemplary Christian life until her death. She leaves a husband and seven children to mourn her loss; but they mourn not as those having no hope. Funeral services conducted by Rev. K.M. Lockhart were held at the residence at 3 o'clock p.m., June 6. Interment in Grace Lawn Cemetery. (transcribed by Judy Mayfield) August 2021
