She moved with her parents while quite young to Gage County, Nebraska. She was married to I. N. Headley of near Beatrice, November 25, 1875. She moved with her parents while quite young to Gage County, Nebraska. She was married to I. N. Headley of near Beatrice, November 25, 1875. To this union two daughters were born -- Emma, dying in infancy; and Mrs. Aliee Klie, who now resides at Guerney, Colorado. On November 11, 1878 she was left a widow. June 7, 1881 she was united in marriage to Hollis K. May, who preceeded her to the Great Beyond two months and six days. To this union were born three daughters --- Mrs. Edna Mullison of Wray, Colorado; Mrs. Ethel Wolbach of St. Francis, Kansas; and Miss Gladys May of Armel. She was united with the Christian Church in early youth. In 1893 she and her family moved to Cheyenne County, Kansas, and later to Yuma County, Colorado, where she lived until her death. She leaves to mourn her loss, besides the three daughters, six sisters and four brothers. One sister, Mrs. Maggie Buckman, of Longmont, Colorado, arrived to attend the funeral; and thirteen grandchildren. The funeral services was held at the home, her favorite songs being used in the ceremony, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Armel Cemetery, Rev. Johnson preached the funeral.
