Description	:	Sarah was born in Indiana, daughter of Rufus Sanders and Mary Ann Booth. About the time Sarah was 14 years old the Sanders family migrated to York Co., Nebraska. She married Levi Dean [of Pa.] also a recent new arrival to York Co.,Ne. They married in 1870 when Sarah was 19 years of age. Levi was indeed much older than Sarah, 27 years. Levi Dean 1814-1887. Read More	Sarah was born in Indiana, daughter of Rufus Sanders and Mary Ann Booth. About the time Sarah was 14 years old the Sanders family migrated to York Co., Nebraska. To them were born the following children: Effie, Mary, Frank, Charlotte, Levi, William and Daniel. {Marriage date confirmed from marriage certificate which also included age of both parties] Levi had been married to Rachel Wright in Pa. and was the father of 9-11 children. It would appear his marriage to Rachel Wright ended in divorce as Rachel is reported to have died in 1893 in Huntington, Pennsylvania. In 1887 shortly after Levi's death she married Ellsworth Thompson. To them were born two children: Harry Harrison and Emily Alice Thompson. [Census records indicate two other children born/died to them, but not confirmed]. 1900 census lists them as Mary 1895 and Annie 1897. After Ellsworth's death the widow Thompson again married, this time to William Giles when she was age 70. There is no marker on her grave however she is buried next to her second husband Ellsworth Thompson. In the same plot are her daughter and son in law and other family members. I have listed Sarah under the last name of Thompson as her marriage to William Giles was quite short and even his family did not know he had remarried and I doubt that her family put much credence into it either.
