Mrs. Hodson graduated from Burlington High School in 1934 and was a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting and crossword puzzles. She was a former member of Oakland Christian Church and Burlington Quilt Club. She was born Sept. 13, 1916, in Howard County to Jesse Edward and Grace D. Kessler Catron. She married Isaac Harry Hodson on March 3, 1935, and he died July 4, 1998. A daughter, Shirley Beamer; a son, Ronnie; a son-in-law, Leroy Guy; two brothers, Harold and Lank Catron; a sister, Catherine Bryum; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild preceded her in death.
