Burial will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Spokane Valley, WA. Sally was born on August 20, 1932 in Spokane, WA to Daniel and Marguerite Maguire. She grew up and attended schools in Spokane, graduating from Marycliff High School in 1951. She then worked for the Crescent department store in the credit office for 10 years. Sally married Glenn Sharpe on July 30, 1955 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Spokane. The family moved to Sandpoint in 1971 after Glenn got a transfer with the railroad. In 1973 Sally began her volunteer service at the Bonner General Hospital as an Auxilian. She accumulated over 6,000 volunteer hours. She was fondly remembered as being instrumental in having prayer said before every luncheon which continues today. She was inducted as an honorary elite member in 2009. Sally was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and was an active member of the Altar Society. As a member she spent many years preparing the church for holy sacraments, funeral masses, cleaned the church and helped at Soup Kitchen; her favorite season was preparing the church for Christmas. She enjoyed writing poetry, embroidery and sewing for her daughters while they were growing up as well as making stuffed animals for others over the years. Many in Sandpoint may not have known Sally by name, but would have recognized her as the "lady who rode her blue bike" all over town up until 2012. She is survived by her two daughters Theresa (Mike) Radocy of Kirkland, WA, Elizabeth (John) Gragg of Bakersfield, CA; two brothers Jim Maguire of Woodinville, WA and Pat (Donna) Maguire of Cheney, WA; three grandsons Michael (Gretchen) Gragg, Nickolus (Kayla) Gragg, and Timothy (Lorraine) Gragg; and three great-grandsons Elijah, Yohan, and Remy. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Glenn (2000), her twin sister, Sister Marguerite Maguire (2014), and her sister Kathy Collier (2010).
