Description	:	Coon Rapids Enterprise November 11, 1910 Mrs. Sarah Trullinger died Sunday evening after an illness of several weeks duration. The deceased was a woman greatly beloved by her friend for her many womanly qualities, being kindly and gracious and her nature. She was one of the pioneer mothers, coming West with her husband in her early life and going through all the hardships connected with pioneer days. Read More	Coon Rapids Enterprise November 11, 1910 Mrs. Sarah Trullinger died Sunday evening after an illness of several weeks duration. The deceased was a woman greatly beloved by her friend for her many womanly qualities, being kindly and gracious and her nature. She was one of the pioneer mothers, coming West with her husband in her early life and going through all the hardships connected with pioneer days. The present generation owes much to such mothers, for, with their husbands, they made the present comforts possible though they do not live sufficiently long to enjoy in full measure the fruits of their labor and accomplishments. But the rewards for the labors of this life are not always commensurate with just deserts, the life beyond holding the compensations due to those who have given up their lives generously for the happiness of others. The funeral services were conducted by Father Rehbach at the Catholic church Wednesday morning, the church being well filled with mourning friends and relatives. Sarah Margaret Bricker was born in Knox County, Ohio, in 1837. She was married to Michael Trullinger in Ohio in 1859. They emigrated to Illinois in 1863 and from there to Iowa in 1866, locating first in Tama, then in Jasper County, a few years later moving still further west, for the past twenty-eight years making their home, until the death of Mr. Trullinger last year, in Greene, Guthrie and Carroll counties, but most of the time in Guthrie County, dying Sunday evening at the home of her daughter Mrs. E.E. Sherburn, north of town. She was the mother of six children Frank, Charles and George, and Mrs E. E. Sherburn, Mrs. Nancy Bails and Mrs. George Wilt, Charles dying in his youth. The remaining children live in the community and were with their mother during her last hours.
