The deceased was born in Northby, Mass., June 29, 1842, and removed to this county with her parents in 1858. Read More	Council Bluffs, Iowa Nonpareil Dec. 24, 1873 FOLSOM - In this city at noon, on December 23d, 1873, Mrs. Sarah A. Folsom, wife of Jeremiah Folsom, aged 31 years and 6 months. The deceased was born in Northby, Mass., June 29, 1842, and removed to this county with her parents in 1858. She was married about five years ago to Mr. Jeremiah Folsom, and leaves surying (sic) her, three children, two daughters and one son; the latter an infant a week old. Mrs. Folsom united with the Episcopal Church in this city, about ten years ago, and always continued a zealous and consistent member of it, having been for several years a faithful teacher in the Sunday School. Her husband with a large circle of relatives, including her aged mother, one sister and one brother, and a number of devoted friends, watched over her bedside, doing all that human hands could do, to relieve her sufferings until her gentle and loving spirit passed away. Her death has carried sorrow and mourning both to the hearts of her own kindred, and also in the church to which she was devotedly attached, and to the large circle of acquaintances and friends in the city, where she was very generally known. She retained consciousness to the last, conversed freely with those about her, and expressed a firm trust in the Savior, to whom she gave her heart in her youth, and who has now, as we firmly believe, taken her to himself in Heaven. The funeral will take place at the residence of Mr. J. Folsom, on Friday December 26th, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon. The friends of the family are invited.
