Another Sarah Gaston is listed with her parents, supposedly a 9 year old sister to Sarah born approximately 1871 in the 1880 Census. 1871 is the same birth year of sister Emma Florance. My theory is that Emma was mistakenly listed as Sarah. How many times did your parent call you by your sibling's name? This makes more sense to me because why would you name two daughters Sarah? Plus Emma Gaston is nowhere to be found in 1880, but appears at age 28 in 1900 census as Emma Ruby residing with her husband William Ruby.
