Description	:	Sarah Rebecca Myers, daughter of Abram Myers was born in Mifflin Co, Penn. Aug. 7, 1849 and died from cancer of the stomach, June 30, 1914, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. I. B. Book, near North Manchester, Indiana, aged 64, 10 months and 23 days. She was the oldest of a family of five children and spent her girlhood days in the vicinity of McVeytown, Penna. Book, near North Manchester, Indiana, aged 64, 10 months and 23 days. She was the oldest of a family of five children and spent her girlhood days in the vicinity of McVeytown, Penna. In the year, 1868, she was married to William H. Stine and in the year, 1871, they moved near Adel, Iowa, where she spent most of her life on the farm. There were born to this union, nine children, five boys and four girls. They are Ira Cloyd of Dallas Center, Iowa, Arthur M. of Adel, Iowa; Mae (Book) of North Manchester, Indiana; Bertha, (deceased), Blanche (Long) of Littleton, Colorado; Harry A. of Perry, Iowa; Anna M. of Panora, Iowa; Elmer R. of Adel, Iowa, and Ora W. of North Manchester, Indiana. In 1903, the family moved to Panora, Iowa, where she lived her remaining days. Shortly after they moved to Iowa, she united with the Church of The Brethren and lived faithfully in this church until death. She was an earnest Christian woman, continually trying to serve others. Early in the spring of this year, her health began to fail and she constantly grew weaker until the end. While visiting her daughter in Indiana, she took her bed and passed away after a week's serious illness. There are left to mourn her departure, a husband, two sisters, one brother, five sons, three daughters, sixteen grandchildren and a host of friends.
