Description	:	Sarah Rollins Jeffers' Will ---------------------------------------- In the name of God Amen I Sarah Jeffreys of Clermont County Ohio Being afflicted in Body But of Sound Mind, and understanding Blessed be God for the Same and knowing the uncertainty of Life and the certainty of Death do make and Ordain this my last will and Testament in the manner and form as follows And First of All I will my Immortal Soul unto the hands of God who gave it And my body to Buried in a descent and Christian manner And as to what goods of this... Read More	Sarah Rollins Jeffers' Will ---------------------------------------- In the name of God Amen I Sarah Jeffreys of Clermont County Ohio Being afflicted in Body But of Sound Mind, and understanding Blessed be God for the Same and knowing the uncertainty of Life and the certainty of Death do make and Ordain this my last will and Testament in the manner and form as follows And First of All I will my Immortal Soul unto the hands of God who gave it And my body to Buried in a descent and Christian manner And as to what goods of this world it has pleased God to bless me I dispose of on the following manner Viz and First It is my will that so Soon after my decease as convenient all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid And Secondly I give will and bequeath to my Dear Daughter Rachel Jefferys now Rachel Wood and to her heirs and assigns Two acres of Land on the East side of my Lot of land adjoining Lands of John Barton on the South Said Barton and John McDonnald on the East and the Heirs of William McDonnald Decd on the North and Wesley Leeds on the West Being for said Two acres at the North West Corner of Said John McDonnalds Land and John Bartons Land to the South East Corner of My Lot thence with John Bartons Line West So far that a line parallel to the East boundary of My lot and closing with part of the North boundary thereof Shall enclose Said Two Acres and Including the house Thirdly I do give and bequeath to my Dear Great Grand Child Capius M.S. Jeffreys (oldest son of my Grandchild Leander Jeffreys) and to his Heirs One Acre of Land in the South West corner of My Lot Beginning at the South West corner of the above described Two acres Assigned to Rachel Wood thence with John Bartons line to Wesley Leeds line and therewith Northward so far that a Line running parallel to the South boundary and closing with part of the West Boundary of said Rachels Two Acres Shall include One Acre Fourthly I give and Bequeath to my Dear Grand daughters Sarah Hare and Martha Hare (the oldest living Daughters of my Daughter Mary Hare) and their Heirs and assigns Share and Share Alike the ballance of my Said Lot of Land being in the North West corner thereof and bounded on the South by Said Capius M.S. Jeffreys on the West by line of Wesley Leeds land on the North by line of Lands of Heirs of William McDonnalds Decd on the East by part of West boundary of Said Rachel Woods 2 acre lot aforesaid land contains One acre more or less And Lastly I do hereby Nominate Constitute and Appoint My Dear Daughter Rachel Wood Aforesaid Sole Executrix of this my last will and Testament Hereby Revoking all other Will parts of wills or Codiciles by me made at any times Heretofore and declair this and no other to be my last will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereto set my hand and affix my seal this Twentyfirst day of March One Thousand Eight Hundred and Forty Six {signature & mark} Signed Sealed published pronounced and declaired by the said testator to be her last will and testament in the presence of us who in her presence and at her request have Subscribed as Witnesses John Nichols } }Witnesses also to the following Codicil James C. Moore } ------------------------------- Codicil to above Will ------------------------------- And after considering the above Bequest it is further my will and I do hereby give Will and Bequeath to my above named Grandson Leander Jeffreys to have the use and benefit of the Two Acres (set Apart in the foregoing will to my daughter Rachel) and including the house so long as would make him the said Leander as reasonable compensation for what Improvements he does at this time known not including any former improvements and any made after my decease not cutting any Gum timber thereon. {signature & mark}
