She was born May 29, 1908, on the family farm near New Stanton, where she lived and worked for 51 years. She graduated from Youngwood High School in 1926. She won a blue ribbon at the 1926 state fair for her poultry exhibit. Sister of Elmer G. Fox, John J. Fox, Amos William Fox, Mary M. Fox & May C. Fox. She was born May 29, 1908, on the family farm near New Stanton, where she lived and worked for 51 years. She graduated from Youngwood High School in 1926. She won a blue ribbon at the 1926 state fair for her poultry exhibit. She was a lifelong member and, at the time of her death, the oldest living member of St. Paul's Seanor United Church of Christ, New Stanton. In 1959, she moved to Dorseyville to become head housekeeper of the St. Paul's Children's Home, performing many managerial functions. Later, she retained this position when the home was moved to Greenville, Pa. She retired to New Stanton in 1974, where she spent many happy years knitting and gardening. For the last 15 years, she has been an invaluable member of the family of Stuart and Sarah Strickland, with whom she moved to McCandless Township in Pittsburgh's North Hills in 1991. She has also led an active life of travel.
