Description	:	The daughter of Thomas Tuck married Andrew Jeter Leftwich on 1 May 1866 at Catalpa Grove in King William County. Catalpa Grove was the Tuck home near Mangohick. It was built circa 1785. Sallie Tuck's prosperous farm provided amble provender for the Yankees in the Army of the Potomac in May of 1864. Grant's Army was making its way from the North Anna to Cold Harbor and a brigade stopped for Sallie's ripe strawberries. Andrew was a farmer and officer in the Confederate Army.
