Mrs. Poole was born in Buffalo on Jan. 24, 1913, a daughter of the late John and Maude Ingle Wix. She was a member of the Buffalo Baptist Church. Mrs. Poole was born in Buffalo on Jan. 24, 1913, a daughter of the late John and Maude Ingle Wix. She was a member of the Buffalo Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter: Mrs. Jimmy "Dianne" Johnson of Buffalo; a son: Philip Poole of Buffalo; a sister: Ruth Gregory of Buffalo; a daughter-in-law: Frances Poole of Travelers Rest; 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Mrs. Poole was predeceased by a son, Mack Poole. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday at Buffalo Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Tim Anderson. Burial will be in Fairforest Baptist Church Cemetery. The five following grandsons will serve as active pallbearers: Phil Poole, Chris Poole, Kevin Poole, Ernell Johnson and Jimmy Blair along with Wayne Barnett. The body will remain at the funeral home where the family will receive friends Tuesday night from 7:00 until 9:00 and will be placed in church at 1:00 PM Wednesday to await the hour of service. The family is at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jimmy Johnson, 325 Riley Rd., Buffalo, SC. The S. R. Holcombe Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
