She was employed by John Deere Ottumwa Works, Standard Kolsman, Lin-Den Manufacturing and Shrine of Memories Funeral Home. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and O.B. Nelson Unit #3 Auxiliary. She is survived by one son, Dennis Edward White of Ottumwa; a daughter, Alice Jane White [of] Ottumwa; a grandddaughter, and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, George Heavrin and Ed Stewart; and a sister, Phyllis Petersen. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, the Rev. John Spiegel officiating. Burial will be in the Shrine of Memories Mausoleum. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Friday at Reece Funeral Home. Christian Wake services will be at 7 p.m. at the funeral home followed by family visitation until 9 p.m. Pallbearers will be Steve Palmer, Stan Thompson, Dennis White, Wendell and Corey Beall and Chris Bates. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny Murphy, Larry Matthues and Trent White. A memorial has been established to Hospice Inc.
