Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 PM Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Valley city with Judy Johnson-Berg officiating. Visitation will be from 4PM until 7 PM Tuesday at the Lerud-Schuldt Funeral Home with a Prayer Service beginning at 7 PM. Burial will be in Spring Creek Cemetery at Hastings, ND. Scott Allen Olufson was born October 18, 1967 at Valley City, ND, the son of Gordon and Florence (Fossen) Olufson. He grew up in Valley City and attended schools there, graduating from Valley City High School in 1987. Following his graduation, he was employed by the Groundsmen, Budget Home Furnishings, and later for J & S Marketing. He enjoyed playing darts and bowling. He was extremely proud of his children and always had their pictures with him in his wallet. If you stopped and talked with him he would proudly share those pictures with you. Besides his children, Ryan and Sarah Olufson, he is survived by his mother, Florence Olufson, Valley City, ND, two sisters, Debbie (Ron) King, Valley City, ND and Wynette Olufson, Fargo, ND, a half-sister LaVonne (Gene) Pasiuk in Minnesota and a half-brother Burnelle Olufson in Maryland. Also surviving is his special friends Diane Anderson and her daughter Amanda both of Valley City. His father, Gordon Olufson, preceded him in death.
