Description	:	Scott Collins TerVeer, 49, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Feb. 26, 2009, in Houston, Texas, where he worked as an iron worker. He was born on March 23, 1959, in Fort Myers, Fla., to Marsha Crecelius DeVault and the late Merle Dean TerVeer. Scott loved music, playing his guitar, and skateboarding. One of the most treasured moments in his life was when he was featured on the cover of the April 1982 Thrasher skateboard magazine. Scott is survived by his mother, Marsha and stepfather, Bill DeVault of Prairie Grove, Ark.; brothers, Dale TerVeer and wife Cinda of Little Rock, Ark., Adam Miller of Cedar Rapids, lowa; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Scott will be missed by all. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 2009, at St. John's Episcopal Church, Mason City, where Scott was a member.
