Description	:	Military Rites Presented For Scott E. Jones Services were conducted in the Hollingsworth Memorial Chapel Saturday afternoon for Scott E. Jones, local general contractor. who died Thursday afternoon after an extended illness. Mr. Jones was a native and lifelong resident of this community. The Rev. Marion R. Shroyer, local pastor, officiated at the rites and at the committal services Mrs. Charles Argerbright, organist, presided at the console for the prelude, selected hymns and the postlude of familiar hymns. Members of the American Legion Post 98 attended the services and presented the ritualistic military rites at the cemetery. The firing squad consisted of Ned E. Trout, commander and Gail E. Trout. John Zeigler, Ned Simmons, John Dakin, John Mathias, Verlin Grace, Floyd Sibert, Lester Crowell. Color guard was Darwin Troutman, commander; William Stockwell, Dallas Troutman, Don Smith and James Gumm. Herbert Johnston was the bugler. The pallbearers were Max Holloway, Robert Parsons, Floyd McNamara, Max Lindsey, Adrian Scott and Fred Sell. The officiating post chaplain was Walter Schneider and post commander Joseph Ziekgraf presented the American flag. The committal and interment was in the Adams cemetery in Etna-Troy township.
