Description	:	Synthia/Cynthia was the daughter of Daniel Upton 1800-1880 and Margaret (Collins) Upton 1805-1885 She married Andrew Jackson Melton as his 2nd wife on Sept. 20, 1859 in Rutherford Co., North Carolina. They were only married 2 years when he died in 1861. She never married again and did not have any children.
