Seaborn enlisted on 23 September 1861 in the Confederate Army - Company F, 61st Georgia Infantry, and was discharged in Virginia in May, 1865, due to the surrender on 9 April 1865. Seaborn married Christianna Caroline Wright who was a divorced woman of 22 years(1860-1952) on 4 March 1883, at the age of 50 years in Alachua, Florida. Together they had Nine children.
