Parks, 85, of 804 Pine Ln., died at 2:10 p.m. Saturday in White County Memorial Hospital. Prior to entering the hospital Nov. 30 she had been a patient in Monticello Healthcare Center since last January. Born in Benton County, she lived in the Pike Creek community before moving to Monticello 22 years ago. She was married in 1916 to Otis Parks, who died in 1968. Mrs. Parks was a member of Pike Creek Church of the Brethren and Women's Fellowship of the church. Surviving are a brother, Carl Nelson of Wolcott; and one sister, Mrs. Ruth Small of Kentland. Obituary published in the Journal and Courier (Lafayette, IN), on Sunday, December 14, 1980, pg. 23.
