She married Joseph Hill on May 6, 1858, in Clermont County, Ohio. Had Mrs. Hill lived until August 28, she would have been 84 years old. Her husband, Joseph Hill, and her daughters, Mrs. Newton Hill, Mrs. May [sic] Harsch, and Mrs. Josie Martz, all of Ottumwa; Mrs. F.A. Kendall of Viola, Ind., and Miss Sarah E. Hill, at home. The funeral will be held at the Zion church at 2 p.m. Sunday, with Rev. A.A. Heath of this city in charge. Burial will be here in Shaul cemetery.
