Pullen, and Mrs. Frank Ellis of this city, together with his son Seth, and a young man named Grover Eis, were drowned in the Mississippi River Saturday while hunting ducks. They were crossing the stream to a small island in a duck boat, when an ice floe struck their boat, mashing it in and all three men were drowned. The bodies of Seth Godfrey and Grover Eis have been recovered but as yet the body of Milo Godfrey has not been found. Milo Godfrey lived in Estherville for about a year some nineteen years ago, and was well known to most of the older residents. He was a stonemason and worked that that business while here. He leaves a wife and several children. His son Seth, was a young married man and Grover Eis was his step-son. Mrs. Pullen will go to Muscatine as soon as the body of her brother is recovered.
