Mason City; Lester, Burchinal; and Russell, Minneapolis; three daughters, Mrs. Herman (Mable) Heginger, Goodell; Mrs. Iver (Sadie) Toft and Mrs. John Osnes, both of Clear Lake, and 11 grandchildren. He was born April 16, 1870, at Stavanger, Norway, the son of Evend and Mary Talga. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church with the Rev. I.A. Lavik officiating. The Rev. I. A. Lavik officiated and burial was in the Clear Lake Cemetery. The Ward Funeral Home was in charge. Torger Froiland, soloist, was accompanied by Mrs. H. L. Erickson. Mable Rosburg, Lillie Bartlett, Mrs. Claus Carstens and Mrs. Al Carstens were in charge of the flowers. Pallbearers were E. I. Nagle, Glenn Erickson, Raymond Swanson, Hans Henriksen, Al Carstens, Ephraim Holm, Harold Bartlett and Raymond Gallagher. Globe-Gazettee, Mason City, Ia. Feb. 21, 1957, Page 10.
