Description	:	Warren Douglas Bayne, age 72, beloved husband of the late Geraldine Moore Bayne, died on Friday, May 28, 2021 at his residence. Born in Travelers Rest, SC, he was the son of the late Paul Edgar Bayne and Helen Dobson Bayne. Doug served in the United States Army for over 24 years and retired in 1987 as a Sergeant Major. He served two tours in Vietnam as a combat medic and received numerous commendations during his career. Read More	Warren Douglas Bayne, age 72, beloved husband of the late Geraldine Moore Bayne, died on Friday, May 28, 2021 at his residence. Born in Travelers Rest, SC, he was the son of the late Paul Edgar Bayne and Helen Dobson Bayne. Doug served in the United States Army for over 24 years and retired in 1987 as a Sergeant Major. He loved to cook for his girls and is best known for his homemade egg rolls and spaghetti and was always seen drinking either coffee or chocolate milk. His true joy in life came from spending time with his daughters and grandchildren. He will be remembered as a very loving father, grandfather and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by; one brother, Samuel Bayne; one sister, Catherine Bayne and a grandson, Kyle Cotton.
