Description	:	First husband of Rachel T. (Morris) Morris Protzman Aydelott McCarty (1844-1930) who was his first cousin. William was a Sgt. in Company A, 70th Regiment Ohio Infantry during the Civil War. He died at age 33. William was the son of Joshua Morris and Sarah (Sutton) Morris.
