Description	:	Sharon F. Head, 76, of Ottumwa, died at 11:12 a.m. January 24, 2020 at Hospice House in Ottumwa. She was born January 18, 1944 in Ottumwa to Leonard and Ida Faye Lester Dalbey. Sharon married Gerald “Jerry” Head on June 10, 1977 and he preceded her in death on June 15, 2012. Sharon worked in abstracting at McElroy, Truitt and Truitt, and Dew and Kintigh. She loved to read and loved her dog, Silky. Surviving is her sister, Beverly (Max) Manning of Ottumwa; her brother, Leonard (Shiree) Dalbey of Fillmore, MO; nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews. Read More	Sharon F. She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Lawrence Dalbey. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Reece Funeral Home with Pastor Phil Griffith officiating. Burial will be in McCormick Cemetery near Highland Center. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Monday with the family present from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Serving Davis and Wapello Counties or Heartland Humane Society. Ottumwa Courier January 24, 2020
