She is survived by her husband Darrel of 46 years, 5 sons; Scott Dexter and wife Kim of Butler, KY, Brent Dexter of Morristown, TN, Ace Dexter and wife Tammy of Bartlett, NE, Bryce Dexter and wife Sharla of Sydney, NE, and Kyle Dexter of Mexico, MO, 20 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 5 sisters; Charol Tibbets of O’Neill, NE, Phyllis Blackmore of North Platte, Nancy Everett and husband Rol of Atkinson, NE, Beth Cihal and husband Bill of Omaha, NE, and Joyce Easton of Atkinson, NE, and special friends Beverly McConnell and Linda Green. Sharon was born on September 30, 1945, in Stuart, NE, to Asa and Bonnie (Sammons) Watson. She attended country school, then graduated from Atkinson High School. She married Darrel Dexter on May 11, 1968 in Amelia, NE, at the United Methodist Church. To this union, 5 sons were born; Scott, Brent, Ace, Bryce, and Kyle. She was a stay at home mom until the last son was a junior in high school. She then worked for 15 years at C Store for COOP, and kept books for the home business, Dexter Feeds. She was also a bookkeeper and secretary for Cronin and Hannon Law Office. She was a member of the Chambers American Legion Auxiliary. Sharon also enjoyed doing embroidery.
