Mrs. Burger was born Sept. 19, 1942, in Columbus to Glen Sr. and Emily (Zoucha) Boss. She attended Kramer High School in Columbus. She married Dorvin "Mike" Burger May 28, 1960, at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Columbus. She grew up in Columbus where she worked at Behlen's Cafeteria for many years. She also worked for her parents at the E & G Bar in David City. She was a member of the Catholic faiths She enjoyed animals and walking by the river.... Survivors include her husband; her father of Bellwood; a brother and sister-in-law, Glen Jr. and Kathy Boss of Bellwood; two sisters and brothers-in-law. Barb and Steve Oelschlager of Columbus and Kathi and Robert Wilkerson of Mount Vernon, Ohio; nieces; and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and her grandparents. Services were held Monday, Dec. 13, at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church with Father Tom Weisbecker officiating. Burial was at Sts. Peter and Mary Cemetery east of Bellwood.
