Description	:	Sharon Kay Ferebee the daughter of Melton (Bud) and Veva (Shafer) Ferebee was born August 21, 1952 in Superior, Nebraska. Sharon departed this life on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at the Brodstone Memorial Hospital in Superior, Nebraska. Sharon attended elementary school at Pleasant View until the 6th grade, and then she began school in Nelson. She was in girl's track, the high school band playing the French Horn and as a Majorette. Sharon graduated in 1970. She went to Ben's Beauty School in Lincoln, NE, graduated and was employed at Sharon Kenley's Beauty Shoppe in Edgar, NE until she was involved... Sharon departed this life on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at the Brodstone Memorial Hospital in Superior, Nebraska. Sharon attended elementary school at Pleasant View until the 6th grade, and then she began school in Nelson. She was in girl's track, the high school band playing the French Horn and as a Majorette. Sharon graduated in 1970. She went to Ben's Beauty School in Lincoln, NE, graduated and was employed at Sharon Kenley's Beauty Shoppe in Edgar, NE until she was involved in a single car accident which left her in a coma in September of 1972. Sharon was a great help with field work and could handle the Grade A barn. Sharon loved children and did a lot of babysitting for friends and neighbors. She wanted to be a care giver to under privileged children. Sharon was brought to the Nelson Good Samaritan Center in October of 1972 until it's closing and then was moved to Rose Brook Care Center in Edgar, NE. Sharon is preceded in death by her grandparents. Survivors are: parents Bud and Veva Ferebee of Nelson, NE; and a sister Peggy as well as a host of friends. Burial was in the Nelson Cemetery, Nelson, NE.
