Description	:	The funeral for Sharon K. Hoff, 49, Valley City, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, 2000, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley City. Burial will be in Memory Gardens, Valley City. She died Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2000 at MeritCare Hospital, Fargo. Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 13, 2000, at Oliver-Nathan Funeral Chapel from 2-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services in the church. Sharon Kay Hoff was born Nov. 7, 1950, the daughter of Herbert and Gertrude (Larson) Hoff, in Valley City and graduated from Valley City High School in 1968. Before entering the Sheyenne Care Center in December of 1999, Sharon did volunteer work at the Open Door Center and Barnes County Museum, Valley City. She also sold Avon for many years. Sharon was a friend to everyone she came in contact with. One of her greatest joys was visiting with her many friends. She was known not to be shy when it came to people coming into visit a resident at the Care Center. Not one person got through the door when Sharon was there that she did not meet. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley City and the VFW #2764 AMVETS, also Valley City. Sharon loved her family and was shown this love in return. She was fond of her nieces and nephews and took great pride in them. Survivors are her father, Herbert Hoff and two sisters, Julie (Jerry) Yokom and Bonnie (Jim) Gordon, all of Valley City; a niece and four nephews; two great-nieces and a great nephew.
