Read More	******************************* Published Mar. 20, 2010 - Chanute, KS Sharon Lee Sibley, 72, El Dorado, Kansas, died on Friday, March 19, 2010, at St Francis Hospice in Wichita, Kansas. She was born on Feb. 2, 1938 in Lyons, Kansas, the daughter of James Melvin and Ellen Pricilla (Butler) Johnson. Sharon graduated from El Dorado High School with the Class of 1955. On June 5, 1955 she and James Richard Sibley were married in El Dorado, Kansas. He preceded her in death on Jan. 18, 2003. She lived in El Dorado for many years, and had lived in Rosalia previously. Sharon lived in Chanute for two years after the death of her husband and then returned to El Dorado due to ill health. For a time she had worked at Dillons Bakery, Sears, and Wal-Mart. She was a member of Church of Christ. She loved to garden and especially working in her special flower garden. She loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren and taking care of Skipper her dog. Survivors include her children Debbie and husband, Mike James, of Lone Grove, OK, David R. Sibley, of Chanute, KS, Brad Sibley, of Bel Aire, KS, and Lisa and Chris Gipson, of El Dorado, KS; a brother Dennis Johnson and wife, Pam, of Oklahoma City, OK; two sisters, Bonnie Koger and husband, Ivan, of Ralston, OK, and Janice Hahn and husband, Allen, of Rosenberg, TX; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James, and her parents Jim and Ellen Johnson. Services will be Tuesday, March 23, 2010, at Carlson Funeral Home, El Dorado, KS. Interment will follow the funeral in Walnut Valley Memorial Park, El Dorado, Kansas. Memorials to her memory for Harry Hynes Hospice may be left with Carlson Funeral Home, El Dorado, KS which has charge of the arrangements. **************************
