Mr Ford was a school bus driver for Hamilton Community Schools for 15 years and retired in 1991 from the Max Platt Ford-Lincoln-Mercury dealership in Kendallville. He lived in Hamilton and was a member of the Hamilton Fish & Game Club. He was born June 2, 1915 in Steuben County to Rollie and Cladie Ford. He married Alta Bonecutter on July 26, 1934, and she died Aug 6, 1982. He married Katherine Rosenberry on July 4, 1987 in Butler, and she survives. Also surviving are one son and daughter-in-law of Catonsville Md; one daughter, Marlee Cheek of Butler; two stepdaughters and their husbands; one brother, Dean Ford of Waterloo; four grandchildren, four stepgrandchildren, three great-grandchildren, seven stepgreat-grandchildren, and one stepgreat-great-grandson. One daughter, Joyce, one brother, one grandson, and one stepgrandson preceded him in death. Services will be held Sunday at 2 pm in Feller Funeral Home Waterloo with the Rev Dennis Leinbach of the Butler United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Hamilton Cemetery. Calling is Saturday from 5-8 pm in the funeral home.
