Description	:	She was the daughter of John"Jack" and Shelda (Deardorff) Jensen in Clark Co. S.D. when she was very young her family moved to the Ellendale area.She attended Ellendale Public School. She was united in marriage Jan. 30,1937 to Peter Flynn she and her husband farmed the Flynn family farm. They retired in 1988 and moved into Ellendale. Shelda enjoyed bowling,& Golfing& attended many local and national tournaments. Crocheting was one of her gifts and she won several championship ribbons at Dickey Co. Fairfor her crocheted bedspreads and baptismal outfits. She was well known for dressing in costumes and clowning, and... Survivors include one son Peter of Ellendale; one daughter Verna of Wahpeton,ND; four sisters , VaLora Miles of Krugersdorf,South Africa, iris Dunn of ocala, Fl, Aloha lentz of knoxville,ill.and marcella Beck of Wahpeton one brother Marcena of Wapato,WA. five grandchildren,and 17 great- grandchildren. preceded in death by parents, one infant daughter, one sister, Syvia,and one great-grandson.
