She was preceded in death by her sisters, Inez Epperly, Loella Dowdy; brothers, Ralph Slusser, Glennie Slusser and Logan Slusser. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Inez Epperly, Loella Dowdy; brothers, Ralph Slusser, Glennie Slusser and Logan Slusser. She is survived by those who will cherish her memory and will be sadly missed by her daughter, Lehonna Pendergrass; son, Lynn Pendergrass, grandson, Dakota “Cody” Pendergrass all of McCoy; sister and brother-in-law, Lou and Lamah Lafon of Blacksburg; brother and sister-in-law, Wilbur and Carol Slusser of Newport News; special nieces, Wanda Lawson and Glenna Jarrell, numerous nieces and nephews and special pet, Kobé (too-too). Funeral services will be conducted Friday, November 9, 2012 at 2:00 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery, Blacksburg. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Thursday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW, Blacksburg.
