Lang, 66, of 206 Nicholas Drive #35, who died Thursday morning, Jan. 16 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, will be Saturday at 1 p.m., at Elim Lutheran Church with Pastor John Allen officiating. Burial will be in the Crystal Cemetery, south of Toledo. She was born March 5, 1925 in . Marshalltown, the daughter of Henry E. and Vera P. Johnson Schultz. She received her education in Marshalltown. In 1945 she was married to Lyle Medberry and they made their home in Gladbrook, where she continued to live after her husband's death on Jan. 21, 1963. She later married Kenneth Kroeger who died in July 1973. She spent many years managing the Gladbrook Bowl Restaurant and later owned and operated the Lunch Box Cafe in Gladbrook. She was married to Harold Lang and they were later divorced. In later years, she moved back to Marshalltown where she was a member of Elim Lutheran Church. She was a former member of the Peace United Church of Christ in Gladbrook. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, two brothers and one sister. She is survived by a son James Medberry of Marshalltown; three daughters, Kathy (Mrs. Bradley) Pennington of Marshalltown and Mary (Mrs. Jim) Hall and Cherie (Mrs. Shawn) Overton, both of Toledo; a brother, Jim Schultz of Hiawatha; two sisters, Darlene (Mrs. Paul) Maytag of Marshalltown and Mary "Bonnie" Eggers of Gladbrook; and nine grand-children. from Marshalltown IA newspaper Times Republican dated Friday January 17 1992
