Description	:	Shirley Ann McKitrick, 82, formerly of 538 S. Ransom died at 4:50 am March 27, 2013 at Vista Woods Care Center. She was born May 15, 1930 in Ottumwa to Chintz Royalty and Margaret Ruth Ann Beaber Cundiff. She married Glenn H. McKitrick March 11, 1950. He preceded her in death July 26, 2009. A graduate of Ottumwa High School in 1949, she worked 22 years at Everco retiring in 1992. While a resident of Vista Woods she started and taught a crochet class. Madison and Cheri(Jeff)Bernard of Blakesburg; 7 grandchildren, Brandi King, Carrie Coleman, Eric Johnston, Melanie Coliett, Adam Bernard, Megan Quinn and Kami Mittermann; 14 great grandchildren, Kendall, Logan, Sydney, Keaton, Griffin, Ryder, Avery, Landon, Addison, Zachary, Samuel, Liam, Roan and Lucas; a brother, Richard Cundiff of Lake Rathbun. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Glenda Renee Johnston; her parents; two sisters, Faye Slagle, Virginia Ash and a brother, Willard Cundiff. Funeral services will be 1 pm Saturday at Reece Funeral Home with Pastor Bryan Wyldes officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:30 am Friday with the family present from 6-8 pm Friday. Memorials may be made to Hospice serving Wapello and Davis Counties, Ottumwa, IA.
