She is now reunited with her favourite dance partner and cherished husband, Bob Lisk, who passed away only away 10 days prior. Shirley was blessed by additional children Diana Gwalchmai (Jeff), Bill Lisk (Sheri) and Robin Lisk. Beloved grandmother to Adam (Amy), Morgan (Brady), Erin, Courtney, Cameron, Breanna, and Branden. Great-grandmother to Jaxon, Connor and Xaviour. Predeceased by son John Bullen and first husband Roy Bullen, both of Red Bay. Shirley touched the lives of thousands of families having owned and operated Red Bay Lodge for 32 years, many of whom she remained in contact with. Shirley entertained generations of guests who enjoyed her homecooking and warm hospitality. She hosted numerous charitable events including Ski and Snowarama every year and created the most memorable New Year's parties for the community at large. Shirley had a way of bringing people together and welcoming them as if they were a part of her family. Shirley took great delight each Christmas writing the annual lodge newsletter, thoughtfully including a sprig of Red Bay cedar and a personal message in each card. In her retirement Shirley and Bob participated annually in the Owen Sound Salmon Spectacular and were active in the local bowling league where they proudly showed off the latest pictures of their grandchildren. Shirley loved to travel and cherished time spent with family around the bonfire at her home on Georgian Bay. Shirley and Bob loved nothing better than spending an afternoon with friends dancing up a storm at the Legion(s). Shirley could often be heard calling up a square dance or playing the spoons. As a neighbour, she sat many a house and was always quick to share produce from her garden and pickles from her cupboard. As a mom, she was a one of a kind role-model. Inspirational, fun-loving, talented, and larger than life. She had unparalleled strength to look after anyone and everyone and loved her family with her whole heart. Shirley believed in dancing in the kitchen, family BBQs, and teaching her grandchildren that age was truly just a number. Today, family and friends of Shirley Bullen Lisk celebrate a life well-lived. She was a beautiful person full of grace, humour, and friendship to whomever was lucky enough to have met her. Per her wishes, no service will take place. She will be interred at the Red Bay Cemetery
