Shirely was a past employee of the Weymouth Building Dept and Weymouth Board of Health. In her earlier years she enjoyed the Wessagussett Yacht Club and Weymouth Elks. In Florida she enjoyed putting smiles on peoples faces while volunteering at Give the Kids the World. Shirley was also active in the American Legion, V.F.W., Moose and Elks Lodges in Kissimmee. She was also an active golfer and won First Place in 2005 in the Good Samaritan Golf League. Memorial visitation at the South Weymouth McDonald Funeral Home, 809 Main St. (Rt. 18 opp. South Shore Hospital), Friday, March 14, 2008 from 6-8 p.m. Relatives and friends invited. Graveside service at Old North Cemetery North St., Weymouth on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 11:00 In lieu of flowers, donations in Shirley's memory may be made to Give the Kids the World, 212 South Bass Rd., Kissimmee, FL 34746.
