Shirley was born May 11, 1922, in Randolph, Neb., to the late Donald and Verna L. (Meyer) Hayward. She graduated from Shelby, Iowa High School in 1939. On December 16, 1940, Shirley was united into marriage with Milton Lawrence in Shelby. They were blessed with four children. Shirley was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist faith. Funeral service, Friday, 11 a.m., at the Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. Visitation with the family, 1 hour prior to the service.
