Cremation rites have been accorded and no services are planned. Shirley Jean Kjormoe was born on September 14, 1934, the daughter of Oliver and Myrtle (Gunning) Kjormoe in Marshalltown, Iowa. She was one of four children. Shirley grew up and attended school in Marshalltown. She married Marvin Smith. They had one child Kenny. Shirley worked as a surgical nurse for a period of time before working to care for her family. Shirley married Eugene Wolf. They were the parents of a son, Michael. The two celebrated many years together until Eugene's death. Shirley enjoyed baking, spending time outdoors, being a mother and spending time with her family. She was a loving a caring woman who will be greatly missed. Surviving are her children Kenny Smith of Ankeny, Iowa, and Michael Wolf of Arlington, Texas; her grandson Jacob of Ankeny, Iowa; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands Marvin Smith and Eugene Wolf; her siblings Mary Ellen Jaunty, Bill Kjormoe, and John Kjormoe; and her daughter-in-law Tanie Smith.
