Description	:	Shirley J. Jurgens, 54, of Gering, died Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff. Her funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel in Scottsbluff with Pastor Lyle Hinebach officiating. Burial will follow at West Lawn Cemetery in Gering. Visitation will be from 1-7 PM on Tuesday and 9 AM until service time on Wednesday at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel. She received her education in the Scottsbluff Public Schools. She was united in marriage to Michael Jurgens on July 11, 1992 at Scotts Bluff National Monument. Mike died in 1993 as the result of a car accident. Shirley was a hard worker, providing for her family no matter what it took. She worked at A-1 Rental for 18 years (1993-2010), 3 years at Terry Carpenter Inc. (2010-current), and at McConaughy Discovery Center (2010) until ill health. Shirley is survived by her fiancé Bryan Armstrong, daughter and son-in-law Crystal and Andy Johnston and their children Crysta, Trayton, and Ryan; son and daughter-in-law Jeremy and Tabitha McCloud and their children Travis, Jordyn, Joseph, Jaylee, and Justyce; daughter and son-in-law Cindy and Chris Torres; daughter and son-in-law Sam and Jared Iron Horse and their children Myckah and Josiah; step-son and daughter-in-law Brett and Courtney Armstrong and their children Chase and Mason; mother Zoa McCloud; siblings Dennis and Jeanie McCloud of Newman Grove, NE, Tina and John Vance of Gering, Terry McCloud of Gering, Dewey McCloud of Kimball, Jerry and Charidith McCloud and son Austin of Tekamah, NE, Greg and Pam McCloud of Columbus, NE, and Kim Fletcher of Gering; several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Shirley was preceded in death by her father Jerry James McCloud, husband Michael Jurgens, brother Edward McCloud, grandparents Fred and Zoa Gross, and nephew Austin McCloud.
