Her funeral will be 4:00 PM Tuesday afternoon, August 29, 2017, in the Christian Outreach Ministries. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Cemetery, directed by Dial-Murray Funeral Home, Moncks Corner. Moody and Lucille Weatherford Moody. She was a very selfless and loving person and was the embodiment of kindness. She was known to always put others' needs before her own. Mrs. Wadford was the "glue" that held her family together, and she upheld a strong image of peace and was a very faithful and independent woman. She had always dreamed of being a beautician and was meticulous about her hair and nails. She enjoyed watching old westerns and soap operas, and loved her coffee. Mrs. Wadford loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren equally and unconditionally. She was a morning person and was always up making breakfast before anyone else. She treated anyone that came to her home as family and was always sure that they were fed. Mrs. Wadford would always listen to the troubles of her friends and family and try to give advice that would ease their minds. She loved everyone she met and never had anything bad to say about anyone. She was an inspiration to both her family and friends, and the moment she died, this world lost a beautiful, strong, and selfless woman who will be missed dearly. She was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia A. Mason, and two brothers, Tommy and Jimmy Moody. Mrs. Wadford was the widow of Furman Wadford. Surviving are, two daughters, Betty W. Delk of St. Stephen, and Brenda W. Phillips and her husband, Doug, of Macedonia; a son, F. Darrel Wadford and his wife, Terri, of St. Stephen; a sister, Jenny Lloyd of Darlington; five brothers, Roger D. Moody and Michael R. Moody both of St. Stephen, and Timmy Moody, Larry Moody, and Allan Moody all of Darlington; her special friend, Eddie Gatlin of Alvin; ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
