| Description | : | Shirley J. Young, 72, of Iowa City, died Friday, October 29, 2010 at Lighthouse at Silvis (Silvis, Illinois) after a long struggle with Alzheimer's. Service will be held Wednesday at 10:00 am at Lensing Funeral Service in Iowa City with Reverend Maria Wiblin officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in the West Branch Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorials may be directed to The Lighthouse at Silvis, 1900 10th Street, Silvis, Illinois, 61282.
