She was born March 31, 1926 in Seattle, Washington, to William and Hazel Allen Pederson. She married Robert Champ November 11, 1945. He preceded her in death January 26, 2003. Surviving are her daughter, Rose Brown of Ottumwa; three grandchildren, Aaron (Ronda) Brown of Ottumwa, Laura (Aaron) Parker of Ottumwa and Kibben (Doug) Rumohr of Bloomfield; nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a stepfather, Al Urban; a son, William Champ; a son-in-law, Christopher A. Brown; and a grandson, Christopher R. Brown. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Reece Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Hornback officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Noah’s Ark in Fairfield.
