The Scottsville, KY native was a homemaker, former employee of Washington Overall Manufacturing, retired employee of General Electric, member of Holland Missionary Baptist Church and former member of the Holland Homemakers. She was a daughter of the late Henry Wilson Cliburn and Vera Mae Ramsey Cliburn and wife of the late John Arnold Calvert and James Otis Hanes. She is survived by 2 daughters: Louise Jones and Barbara (Bobbye) Woods, both of Scottsville, KY; 1 brother: Billy Cliburn, Alpena, MI; 1 sister: Mildred Oliphant, Scottsville, KY; 6 grandchildren: Denise Richey, John Marr, Angie Perry, Robbye Calvert, Dustin Calvert and David Calvert; 12 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 3 sons: Dewayne Calvert, Harold Calvert and Caleb Gene Calvert; 1 grandson: Larry Calvert and 2 sisters: Mable Downing and Sue Ames. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Goad Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Chuck Pruitt officiating and burial in Holland Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and after 8:00 a.m. Sunday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
