Sidney was born in Lewistown Oct. 6, 1925 to Sidney and Caroline (Lewis) Killham. Sidney lived in Denton where she met her husband Palmer Seilstad. They were married December 27, 1947 in Lewistown. They ranched near Denton until they bought a ranch on the Judith River 10 miles west of Winifred in 1954. Read More	Sidney Elizabeth (Killham) Seilstad, 91, passed away Sept 14, 2017 at the Central Montana Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Sidney was born in Lewistown Oct. 6, 1925 to Sidney and Caroline (Lewis) Killham. Sidney lived in Denton where she met her husband Palmer Seilstad. They were married December 27, 1947 in Lewistown. They ranched near Denton until they bought a ranch on the Judith River 10 miles west of Winifred in 1954. Here they became friends and working neighbors with Merle and Marjorie Boyce and family until they sold the ranch and moved into Winifred in 1972. Sidney was very active in community events. She helped organize the Winifred Mustangs 4-H Club and was an active leader for 10 years. She also belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary, the American Lutheran Church, Bridge and Pinochle Clubs, Winifred Garden Club, and was a Title One teacher and assistant cook at the Winifred School. Sidney was an avid reader, crafter and artist. She was always working a craft project in knitting, crocheting, wood working and painting. Sidney won many ribbons at the fair on her projects. Sidney enjoyed horseback riding and horse shows and passed her love of horses onto her grandchildren. Sidney cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildrens’ visits. Sidney is survived by her sister, Hazel Killham; sister-in-law, Marlene Haack; son, Paul (Jean) Seilstad and children, Justa Jean (J.J.) Seilstad, Amber (Brent) Larson and children Aaron, Twyla and Eva Jean, and Ace Seilstad; son, Carl (Cathy) Seilstad and children, Cory (Elizabeth) Seilstad and children Reagan, Kinley, McKenna and Brennan, Cody Seilstad, and Cari (Fabian) Pisk and Braeden; and numerous nieces and nephews. Sidney is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Palmer; sister and brother-in law, Viola (Duane) Donaldson; brother, Bud Killham; and niece, Karen Killham.
