In 1927 she moved to a farm near Viborg, South Dakota. She attended school in Viborg and Yankton. She married Harold J. Kamback, January 1, 1936. They had five children and lived in St. Paul, Minnesota, Yankton and Tripp, South Dakota; La Porte City, Iowa; Austin, Minnesota and Vancouver, Washington. In 1927 she moved to a farm near Viborg, South Dakota. She attended school in Viborg and Yankton. She married Harold J. Kamback, January 1, 1936. They had five children and lived in St. Paul, Minnesota, Yankton and Tripp, South Dakota; La Porte City, Iowa; Austin, Minnesota and Vancouver, Washington. Early in her marriage Signora worked at the Yankton State Hospital (now Human Services Center). She was a most wonderful Mother starting with eldest Joyce in 1937 through youngest Ken finishing high school in 1972 (35 years) and on to her final days. Signora was preceded in death by two brothers: Oscar and Joseph and one sister, Eileen; her husband, Harold in 2001; her eldest daughter Joyce in 1998; and her youngest son Kenneth in 1990. Signora is survived by a sister, Vivian Preston, of Denver, Colorado; two sons: Alan (Brenda) of Keller, Texas and Harold, Jr. (Teresa) of Jesup, Iowa; and a daughter Evelyn (Milton Smith) of Vancouver, Washington. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1:30 Saturday, February 16, 2008 at Trondhjem Lutheran Church rural Volin, SD. Burial will follow in Trondhjem Cemetery. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the services. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a memorial to the charity of your choice.
