There is evidence that Simeon had children by his first wife, Melinda or a similar name, Tison. There is no record of surviving children. The indication of a second wife is that Elizabeth Dell signed a deed as Simeon's wife in 1845. Simeon married Willemina Warren in 1849. ---Carolyn Traxler TeStrake, great-granddaughter of Simeon Dell and Willemina Warren. ********************************* Simeon Dell's apparent first wife was Melinda MiIler, daughter of Jacob & Phebe (Grover) Miller of Northfield, Mass., died Alachua County, 3 Sep 1835, age 35.
