Description	:	SIMEON HARRINGTON DEAD -- Simeon Harrington died at his home at Jacksonville Saturday, September 18, after an illness of several months with cancer. He was born at Clarksburg, Ohio, March 16th, 1846, making him 60 years, 6 months and two days of age at the time of his death. The funeral services were held from the home Monday afternoon, conducted by Rev. John Buckner of this city, and the remains were laid to rest in the McCune cemetery. Read More	SIMEON HARRINGTON DEAD -- Simeon Harrington died at his home at Jacksonville Saturday, September 18, after an illness of several months with cancer. He was born at Clarksburg, Ohio, March 16th, 1846, making him 60 years, 6 months and two days of age at the time of his death. The funeral services were held from the home Monday afternoon, conducted by Rev. John Buckner of this city, and the remains were laid to rest in the McCune cemetery. He was united in marriage to Mary Ann Spangler, July 31, 1870. To this union six children were born, five daughters and one son. The two oldest preceded him to the better world in infancy. The four living were at his bedside at the time of his death. They are, Mrs. Bessie Templeman, Mrs Pearl Adams of Center, Colo, Grover Harrington and Mrs. Edith Hevel. In 1879 he moved to a farm near McCune and spent the rest of his life in this vicinity. His wife died January 30th, 1907. On January 27. 1909, he was married to Mrs Mary F. Watters, who was also with him at the time of his death. He was a kind and loving husband and father, and besides his immediate family he leaves a brother, Dave Harrington, of McCune, and a sister, Mrs Harriet Varnick also of McCune, nine grandchildren and five step-children besides a host of his friends and neighbors to mourn his loss.
