Description	:	Oldest son of J. Frank and Hattie Kay Langston. He had lived most of his life in and around the Liberty, SC area and was employed with Woodside Mills for 25 years. He had been a member of the American Legion and was a veteran of World War I, where he served in France for nine months as an infantryman. He was also survived by the following siblings: three brothers, Oliver Langston and Paul Langston, both of Central, and David Langston of Liberty; and five sisters, Mrs Homer (Fannie) Durham of Liberty, Mrs. Lummie (Essie) Miller of Toccoa, Ga; Mrs. Guy (Alice) Clark of Cornelia, Ga; Mrs. Joe (Nell) Clark of Liberty, and Mrs. Clarence (Maude) Whitfield of Central. Funeral service: Thursday, February 4, 1960, Calumet Baptist Church, officiated by the Revs. Cohen Arms, Henry Williamson, and J.R. Hammond. Burial: West View Cemetery.
